10 Romantic Sexy Movies
It' date night and you need 10 romantic sexy movies to choose from for a rental that might put both of you in the mood. Well, depending on your taste, or hers, here are some romantic comedies and dramas that might do the trick. There are plenty of sexy movies that aren't especially romantic, and certainly some romantic movies that aren't all that sexy. Hopefully, this list of ten romantic sexy movies will fulfill both of those requirements.
"The Notebook." This 2004 chick flick meets the requirements for romantic and sexy. Rachel McAdams is gorgeous and perfect in the role of a girl who must choose between her first love and her new fiance.
"An Officer and a Gentleman." Richard Gere and Deborah Winger star in one of the classic romantic dramas of the 1980s. Girls, no matter how hip and liberated they say they are, will still be swept off their feet by Gere, in his Navy uniform, carrying Winger off at the end of the movie.
"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet star in an offbeat story about romantic love and all its complications, heartbreak and triumphs.
"Titanic." You may recall this little movie from 1997. It did pretty well at the box office and turned Kate Winslet and Leo DiCaprio into major movie stars. As date movies go, this at least has some wicked special effects to appreciate while the music swells and Winslet goes from nude model to tragic heroine.
"Casablanca." There's not much sex, but the romance is timeless. Ingrid Bergman is every man's romantic heroine and the World War II-era story gives everything more weight and more drama. Guys can only hope they'll be as heroic and selfless as Humphrey Bogart's Rick Blaine is in this all-time great.
"Out of Sight." George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez star in a very sexy crime story based on a novel by Elmore Leonard. If you haven't seen this one, it's definitely worth checking out.
"Roman Holiday." In one of the great romantic movies of all time, Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck star in the story of an aristocratic young woman on her own for the first time, accompanied by the quintessentially cool and charming Peck, in one of his defining roles. (The other, of course, being Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird.")
"Bridget Jones' Diary." Sure, Rene Zellweger is a little frumpy for most of the movie. But she's horny and undeniably cute. And girls love this movie, which is actually pretty entertaining if you give it a chance.
"The Unbearable Lightness of Being." In one of the great romantic dramas of the 1980s, Lena Olin, Juliet Binoche and Daniel Day-Lewis star in a romantic triangle set in 1968 Czechoslovakia. There's political turmoil, revolution and lots of sex. It's definitely one that will remind you of the importance of fidelity. It's also a tearjerker, so be prepared.
"Shakespeare in Love." It's a Best Picture Oscar winner and it's got a young Gwyneth Paltrow as a wannabe actress in love with a young William Shakespeare (Joseph Fiennes). The writing by Tom Stoppard is outstanding and the performances are, too. The romantic film classic is smart and sexy at the same time.
