Sweeping romances and visually stunning emotional epics characterize this list of the ten most famous chick flicks. Featuring sentimental films written and directed by legendary filmmakers, these films have earned a slew of prestigious awards and have helped launch the careers of many actors.

  1. “An Affair to Remember.” This classic chick flick about two lovers, who become separated and vow to meet again six months later, is one of the ten most famous chick flicks ever filmed.
