10 Best 2007 Romance Movies

The 10 best romance movies of 2007 were not that easy to find. It appears 2007 wasn’t a great year for romance movies. But, there were still a few gems.

  1. “Enchanted” “Enchanted” is a romance movie from 2007 starring Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey. In this movie, an animated princess is pulled from her fantasy world and thrust into the brutal world of real life New York City.
  2. P.S. I Love You” “P.S. I Love You” starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler, is a good romance movie from 2007. Holly is a widow whose husband was everything to her Knowing that he was dying, he crafted a plan. On her thirtieth birthday she receives a cake and video from her late husband, and then the letters begin. Holly’s family and friends think the letters are preventing her from moving on, but in reality they are helping her.
  3. “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End”  Normally people wouldn’t consider “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End” a romance movie, but it's really a love story about Will and Elisabeth. This romantic action movie stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. It was released in May of 2007.
  4. “Knocked Up” “Knocked Up,” stars Seth Rogan and Katherine Heigl. This comedy from 2007 is also a romance movie. Career oriented Allison meets a slacker named Ben in a night club. They go home together and then do not see each other for about eight weeks. Allison suddenly realizes she's pregnant, and finally contacts Ben. The two discuss the situation and decide to try and be together, for the baby, but perhaps it will end up being for more than the baby.
  5. “Waitress” “Waitress,” starring Keri Russell, is about a pregnant waitress stuck in an unhappy marriage. She falls for a doctor, who is also married.
  6. “Good Luck Chuck” “Good Luck Chuck,” stars Dane Cook and Jessica Alba. This is one of the best comedy movies released in 2007. In “Good Luck Chuck,” Chuck believe a girl from his childhood placed a curse on him so that he would never find true love. In his attempt to win over a girl, he tries to find a way to beat the curse.
  7. “I Think I Love my Wife” “I Think I Love My Wife” is a romance movie about a man who is in a comfortable marriage. That is, until an old friend comes into the picture, a sexy old friend. Will he be faithful to his wife, or will he fall into temptation?
  8. “The Heartbreak Kid” “The Heartbreak Kid” is a romantic comedy about a man who marries a woman he barely knows. They seem perfect for each other until they go on their honeymoon and she starts acting a little crazy. Suddenly, he finds a friend in a woman also staying at the hotel and they slowly start to fall for each other.
  9. “License to Wed” “License to Wed” stars Mandy Moore and John Krasinski. This romance movie is about an engaged couple whose decision to get married in a Catholic church may be more trouble than it’s worth. The priest sets the date for two years away, and demands separate living, chastity, and begins to purposely cause them to argue.
  10. “The Good Night” “The Good Night” is a romance movie about a married man on the brink of a midlife crisis. Suddenly he meets the woman of his dreams, but that’s where he intends to keep her–in his dreams. He begins dreaming all the time, little does he know that some of the people he meets in his dreams will put things in perspective for him.
