First, it's NOT about a famous killer because Manson never killed anybody. It is however a documentary and interview Nicolas Schreck did with Manson. Secondly, suggesting that the "movie" starts at the beginning of Manson's "career" to the point where he allegedly convinced other to be his "followers" to his manipulating them into murder is an incorrect assumption. I will say that the film is terrific and Charlie speaks openly without any interference from anyone else. I have often recommended this film to anyone desiring to hear Charlie's side of things.
