pan data-scayt_word="Sexploitation" data-scaytid="1">Sexploitation can go so ho-ho many ways, from the lightly erotic Swedes to the balls to the wall babes of Russ Meyers. They can have girls in gangs, girls in chains, girls on bikes, boys playing girls, girls playing boys, girls in space, and some girls running to the nunnery to confess their dirty sins. Here are 6 sexploitation movies that will get your motor running and make you whale! baby! whale!

Girl On A Motorcycle (1968)

A leather, chrome, and sexploitation flick, this side of the psychedelic era. The flick stars Marianne Faithfull, a once long time girlfriend of Mick Jagger, who after being newly married jumps onto to her prized motorcycle and rides off on the road to see her two old lovers. Not much of a plot to it but it's all about the acid trip quality of seeing a hot chick on a bike. A great double feature with the more male bravado, "Easy Rider".

Thriller: A Cruel Picture (1974)

The movie that inspired so many cinematic moments for Quentin Tarantino. A young Swedish-blond girl roams the lush country side with a shotgun, seeking revenge on the men who kidnapped, drugged, raped, and then cut out her eye. Lots of slow-mo shoot outs, sadism, and cool steel vengeance. Make sure to get the uncut version, also known as the aptly better titled “They Called Her One-Eye.”

Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill! (1965)

One of our favorite movies of all time and the best of the Russ Meyer mondo skin flicks. This classic 60's cars and chicks movie flips the sexploitation genre on its head, as we are introduced to Tura Satana, Haji, and Lori Williams, three sexy but deadly hotrod gals. The fearsome trio are cruising the desert for a good time, when they get caught up in kidnapping, cat fights, and treasure hunting. A film that cuts like a razor in editing the action and simmers like bacon in pan for these inconic pin-up bods.

School of the Holy Beast (1974)

From the sub genre of nunsploitation, this 70s Japanese import, about a young Japanese girl becoming a nun in an isolated convent and solving the death of her mother. The film starts off like any soft-core porn of self-gratification and tender female bodies showering together. But when you get down to it this a film looks at religious fervor with a sharp jagged edge. The climax of this movie is as shocking as any horror movie today and contains one the first water boarding torture scenes on film.

Switchblade Sisters (1975)

This all girl-gang movie has bite and brash knuckles to beat you down. As super 70s exploitation filmmaker Jack Hill brings us his very loose adaption of Othello. The Dagger Debs and The Silver Daggers, run their local high school with sex and drugs till one day their leader is gunned down at the local roller rink. Now the top two girl molls, Lace and Maggie, must fight over who is the top dog in the gang. The acting is about as good as an after school special but, oh baby, does this film pack a wallop with shootouts, knife fights, political philosophy, and bad poetry.

Barbarella (1968)

Jane Fonda+ Outerspace + Lazer Gun+ Anti-Gravity Striptease + Uncredited music by Pink Floyd = Need I say anything more?
