The 10 best cult classic movies cross several genres. Cult classics are movies that return time and time again. These cult classic movies can normally be found making their annual rounds at the theater for special showing or on television. What makes a movie a cult classic is the following and zaniness of the movie goers. Cult classics bring out the best in fanatics. If you have the chance to attend one, do it.

  1. “This is Spinal Tap” 1984: An incredibly brilliant film that has an enormous fan base across the world, the movie documents the return tour of Spinal Tap to America, in a tongue in cheek and often silly look at the British heavy metal band. This movie has spawned several versions and albums promoting the real metal music of Spinal Tap.
  2. “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” 1975: This peculiar musical has a sinister twist and cross dressing. An oddity in film, RHPS has been a phenomenon and cult classic since its inception.
