Under the direction of Chris Columbus, the “Home Alone” cast put on a memorable performance in the 1990 family comedy. Most of the cast members returned to continue the plot in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.” After that, they went their separate ways, each choosing a different Hollywood path.

  1. Macaulay Culkin Macaulay Culkin played Kevin McCallister, the young protagonist of “Home Alone” and “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.” As a child, he starred in numerous movies, including “My Girl,” “The Pagemaster” and “Richie Rich.” After several years absence from pop-culture acting, he reemerged in 2003 with an appearance on the comedic television series “Will & Grace.” Since then, he has continued his acting career, appearing in movies and television shows. As the leading character, he was one of the more popular members of the original “Home Alone” cast.  

  2. Joe Pesci Joe Pesci was another well-known member of the “Home Alone” cast. He played Harry, one of the troublesome bandits who battled the clever hero. Not one to stray from on-stage crimes, Pesci has appeared in various crime films such as “Goodfellas,” “8 Heads in a Duffel Bag” and “Letha Weapon 4.” The actor’s role as the gangster Tommy DeVito in “Goodfellas,” earned him an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 1991.  

  3. Daniel Stern In the “Home Alone” cast, Daniel Stern played Marv, Harry’s dim-witted accomplice. In the television show “The Wonder Years,” Stern provided the narrating voice of the protagonist Kevin Arnold, while Fred Savage played the character’s younger self on-screen. Aside from that famous narrating role, this member of the “Home Alone” cast has appeared in various television shows, such as “Regular Joe” and “Dilbert,” and movies including “Otis” and “A Previous Engagement.”

  4. Catherine O’Hara Catherine O'Hara appeared in the “Home Alone” cast as Kate McCallister, Kevin’s mother. Since those days, she has remained in the acting arena and has eve taken on voice acting roles in “Monster House,” “Over the Hedge,” “Chicken Little” and “Where the Wild Things Are.” Prior to “Home Alone,” she appeared in movies such as “Dick Tracy” in 1990 and “Beetle Juice” in 1988. She also served as a writer for the television series “SCTV Network” and “SCTV Channel.”
