Funny Lines From Movies For Guys

Every man should know a few funny lines from movies for guys. In addition to their memorable dialogue, intense action and engaging plots, these movies offer plenty of lines filled with guy-oriented humor.

“Shane, you’ve got three pairs.” from “Ocean’s Eleven”

With its slick production and talented ensemble cast, this 2001 movie was a hit with guys. The plot involved a group of smooth criminals attempting to rob three Las Vegas casinos. Brad Pitt had most of the movie’s funny lines, including this quote from a poker training scene.

“Evil will always triumph over good because good is dumb.” from “Spaceballs”

In a witty satire of the “Star Wars” franchise, Mel Brooks, Rick Moranis and Bill Pullman do battle in this funny 1987 movie. As the evil character Dark Helmet, Moranis has some great lines that are as quotable as they are funny.

“Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.” from “Airplane!”

Veteran actor Lloyd Bridges is always a good source for funny lines from movies for guys. In this satirical 1980 film, Bridges plays a control tower supervisor trying to talk down a doomed airplane. When the action gets tense, Bridges laments his decisions in a very odd way.

“Cinderella story, outta nowhere, a former greens keeper now about to become the Masters champion.” from “Caddyshack”

This 1980 movie is on every guy’s favorite funny lines list. Bill Murray and Chevy Chase star in a wild plot about a group of quirky golfers at an upscale country club. Murray’s groundskeeper character has this line, imagining greatness as he swings his golf club at the landscaping.

“Napoleon, don’t be jealous that I’ve been chatting online with babes all day.” from “Napoleon Dynamite”

Guys love the funny and twisted lines in this 2004 movie. It stars John Heder in the story of a loveable loser trying to get his friend elected class president. This line comes from Napoleon’s brother, a tough-talking, pseudo-cool homebody.

“What is this? A center for ants?” from “Zoolander”

Ben Stiller has plenty of funny lines from movies for guys and his 2001 film is no different. Stiller plays a clueless male model wrapped up in a murder plot. His dream is to build a learning center for children, but his hopes are crushed when he confuses the miniature model with the real thing in this line.

“Sixty percent of the time, it works every time.” from “Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy”

This funny and confusing line comes from the 2004 movie starring Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd. The guys play chauvinistic newscasters in 1970s San Diego. Rudd’s character considers himself a ladies’ man and this line comes from a scene where he shows off his cologne collection to Ferrell.

“Just a bit outside!” from “Major League”

Guys love sports movies and this 1989 baseball film is a definite classic. Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen and Wesley Snipes star as Cleveland Indians player fighting for a playoff spot. Veteran ballplayer Bob Uecker adds to the fun as the Indians’ announcer. He unleashes this line after one of Sheen’s pitches misses the plate completely.

“You wanna fight? Stick your head up my butt and fight for air!” from “Joe Dirt”

If you like your movie lines to be dirty and funny, this 2001 film is for you. David Spade stars as a white-trash hero on a mission to find his long-lost parents. Spade’s always getting into trouble and this line is one of his funny attempts at toughness.

“If you ain’t first, you’re last.” from “Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby”

Will Ferrell plays a clueless NASCAR driver trying to overtake his rivals in this funny 2006 movie. Ferrell will stop at nothing to win, and this line sums up his intentions in a very direct way.
