  1. "A Fish Called Wanda" 1988 comedy crime film about a diamond heist. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline and Michael Palin. An animal-loving gangster has trouble when his soft spot for animals gets in the way of his criminal career. He has a fish in his aquarium named Wanda.
  2. "The 40 Year-old Virgin" 2005 screwball comedy starring Steve Carell as the virgin of the title. He accidentally lets it slip to his friends that he is still a virgin and his friends undertake to help him lose his virginity.
  3. "Beetlejuice" A 1988 film directed by Tim Burton. A deceased couple come back to their former Connecticut home to haunt it. When a NYC family tries to move in, the couple tries to scare them away with the help of a guy whose name they pronounce "Beetlejuice'. Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis star in this flick with a funny title.
  4. "Dr. Strangelove (or How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love the Bomb)" 1964 black comedy about the Cold War. This film, made by Stanley Kubrick, stars Peter Sellers and George C. Scott. A crazy US Air Force general orders a first strike nuclear attack. Classic movie with a funny title.
  5. "Young Frankenstein" 1974 classic funny movie with a funny title. Mel Brooks directed this movie starring Gene Wilder and Cloris Leachman. "Young Frankenstein" is a naive scientist who learns that he has inherited the family estate in Transylvania. He decides to continue his father's work and ends up creating a monster.
  6. "The Pink Panther" 1963 classic comedy that evolved into a series of films, directed by Blake Edwards. Peter Sellers stars as the bungling French detective Inspector Clouseau. The action concerns the theft of the "pink panther" diamond.
  7. "The Nutty Professor" Jerry Lewis plays the original nutty professor in the 1963 movie. Lewis has lots of teeth and lots of silly behavior. The 1996 remake with Eddie Murphy is also very funny, with lots of bathroom humor added.
  8. "Dumb and Dumber" Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels play a pair of dim-witted friends in this 1994 comedy. The duo decides to travel cross-country to return a suitcase they found filled with money.
  9. "Bananas" Written, directed by, and starring Woody Allen, this 1971 comedy features an ordinary guy, played by Allen, who gets mixed up with a revolution in a Third World country ( a "banana republic") Screwball comedy with a funny title.
  10. "Kentucky Fried Movie" Here's a 1977 comedy that has no plot, just a series of funny sketches which parody 70's media. TV and movies of the era are satirized in this comedy with a funny title.
