  1. “Spaceballs“ (1987): Production fans are sure to get a giggle over the “Nice dissolve” joke in this film, though most agree that one of the funniest movie scenes of the 80’s is when they go to push the self-destruct button and discover that it’s out of order. “F*ck,” yells Dark Helmet (played by Rick Moranis), “Nothing works in the future!”
  2. “Crocodile Dundee“ (1986): If you think an Aussie in New York would be one of the funniest movie scenes of the 80’s, you’re right on the money. Anyone who’s ever lived in the city is sure to get a laugh at how nic Paul Hogan’s character is.
  3. “Spies Like Us“ (1985): Chevy Chase was a popular face in 80’s comedies and “Spies Like Us” was a hilarious spoof on popular James Bond-style films. When a Russian KGB agent asks Chevy Chase’s character what his objective is, he responds that he objects to buying a woman dinner and then her not putting out for him. This film is filled with some of the funniest movie scenes of the 80’s.
  4. “The Lost Boys”(1987): If you like vampires, you might find the scene where Michael is floating outside of Sam’s window to be one of the funniest movie scenes of the 80’s. Sam shouts at his brother, “You’re a vampire!” and Michael argues, “No, I’m NOT!” Without missing a beat, the frightened Sam yells back, “Then who are you, the Flying Nun?!?”
  5. “The Breakfast Club“ (1985): If you like funny movie scenes from the 80’s, you should definitely check out “The Breakfast Club.” One of the most memorable scenes is where bad boy Bender sits next to the nerdy Brian during lunch.  “Well, Brian,” he says, “all this is a very nutritional meal. All the food groups are represented. Who did your mom marry, Mr. Rogers?” Completely deadpan, Brian answers, “No, Mr. Johnson.”
