A lot of good romantic comedy movies came out in the year 2008. Below is a list of ten romantic comedy movies of 2008, to help refresh the memory. Romantic comedies are always a good pick to please both men and women.

  1. “Made of Honor.” “Made of Honor” stars Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan and is one of the best romantic comedy movies from 2008. “Made of Honor” is the story of how a man is asked by his woman's best friend to be maid of honor at her wedding. Having recently realized he loves her, he agrees so that he can try and stop the wedding.
  2. “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” starring Jason Segel, Kristen Bell, and Mila Kunis, is one of the funniest romantic comedy movies of 2008. When Peter is dumped by his television star girlfriend and goes to Hawaii in the hopes of getting his mind off of her when Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell) appears there with her new rock star boyfriend in tow. Peter is still reeling from the breakup with Sarah, but Rachel (Mila Kunis) the frivolous girl running the hotel desk helps to change that.
  3. “What Happens in Vegas.” “What Happens in Vegas” stars Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz and is definitely one of the best romantic comedies of 2008. This is the story of how two people run into each other in Vegas, spend the night partying and wake up married. Before going to file for divorce, Jack hit’s a three million dollar jackpot. A judge orders them to try and be married for a while so they can give it a true shot.
  4. “27 Dresses” “27 Dresses” is the classic story of “always a bridesmaid.” Starring Katherine Heigl as Jane. After being a bridesmaid 27 times But when her sister is going to marry Jane’s boss, who Jane happens to be in love with, Jane struggles with the decision to accept.
  5. “Then She Found Me.” “Then She Found Me” is a romantic comedy from 2008, starring Helen Hunt and Bette Midler. “Then She Found Me” tells the tale of how one woman in the middle of a mid-life crisis is reunited with her talk show host biological mother and ends up dating one of her students fathers at the same time.
  6. “Dan in real life.” “Dan in real life” Starring Steve Carell is another romantic comedy from 2008. This movie is about a writer who is the single father of three kids and falls for his brother’s girlfriend.
  7. “Definitely Maybe.” “Definitely Maybe” is a romantic comedy starring Ryan Reynolds as Will. When Will and his wife separate, his daughter Maya asks him how he met her mom. When he tells her the story of his three love interests, he begins to remember why they fell in love in the first place.
  8. “Smart People.” “Smart People” starring Dennis Quaid, Sarah Jessica Parker and Ellen Page, is a romantic comedy from 2008. In this movie Dennis Quaid plays a father who hasn’t quite gotten over the death of his wife and finds himself involved with a doctor, who used to be one of his students.
  9. “Jack and Jill vs. the World.” “Jack and Jill vs. the World” stars Freddy Prinze Jr. and Taryn Manning. A good romantic comedy from 2008 where a career oriented man meets an outgoing, optimistic woman. He offers her a place to stay and they begin a friendship which eventually becomes a little more. Soon he discovers evening disappearances are due to Jill having a terminal illness.
  10. “The Hottie & the Nottie.”  “The Hottie & the Nottie stars Paris Hilton and Christine Lakin. In this silly romantic comedy. Nate Cooper finds hottie, Cristabel again after many years, but she won’t date him because she won’t leave her not so hot, good friend June at home alone. So Nate attempts to find June a date and is dismayed when they all go running. After spending some time with June, Nate starts to realize he is falling for her and not the hottie he thought he loved for so many years.
