  10. “The Soong Sisters” (1997)- An interesting look at the inner workings of a Chinese political family, this one of the ten best Chinese history movies details the highs, the lows and the treachery that often come with maintaining a political dynasty.

    Genghis Khan was a Mongolian ruler, and the Yuan dynasty was a Mongolian state. During the Mongol Yuan dynasty, China proper was a Chinese colony. Mongols have nothing to do with China, and Genghis Khan has nothing to do with Chinese history!

    Either way it’s not a very good movie, if you’re interested in Genghis Khan read the Conn Iggulden books, the movie is a huge disappointment in comparison
