"Toy Story" quotes show just how clever and fun this movie is. "Toy Story" is the first movie in the "Toy Story" trilogy and was made in 1995. It was billed as animation, adventure, and comedy. "Toy Story" was Disney/PIxar's first movie to be made and was the first total computer-animated computer-generated imagery (CGI) film made. The "Toy Story" characters and the actors who lent their voices are Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear , Tom Hanks as Woody, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, Jim Varney as Slinky Dog, Wallace Shawn as Rex, and John Ratzenberger as Hamm.  John Morris plays the voice of the boy, Andy. These actors brought the toys to life and made this tale of jealousy among toys a real hit.

  1. "To infinity and beyond!" Buzz Lightyear, the toy that has become popular with Andy, repeats this "Toy Story" quote throughout the movie. It could be considered to be "Toy Story's" tagline. This line is spoken by people in all sorts of situations and appears on tee shirts to commemorate this great movie and the quotes uttered by these life-like toys.

  2. "Yes, sir. We're next month's garage sale fodder for sure." Hamm says this when he realizes that some of the toys, himself included, are not being played with. The toys in "Toy Story" have pretty big brains.

  3. "'Molly's first present is. . . Mrs. Potato Head! Repeat, a Mrs. Potato Head!' Sergeant says. 'Way to go, Ida-ho!' Hamm replies. 'Gee, I'd better shave!' Mr. Potato Head says." This exchange is a lighthearted exchange among the toys. At this point, Mr. Potato Head pulls off his moustache when he says he'd better shave. Molly receives Mrs. Potato Head for Christmas.

  4. "Buzz Lightyear says, 'I am Buzz Lightyear; I come in peace.' Rex replies, 'Oh, I'm so glad you're not a dinosaur.'" Buzz Lightyear introduces himself. He and Rex shake hands.

  5. "Woody says, 'What happened to you?' Buzz Lightyear replies, 'One minute you're defending the whole galaxy, and, suddenly, you find yourself sucking down darjeeling with Marie Antoinette. . . and her little sister.'" Buzz is forced to play tea party with Molly. This is not by choice. Buzz is further humiliated by being forced to wear a dress. Two dolls are also at the tea party, and they're headless.
