The Dark Knight

Batman Begins brought a lot of people back on board the Batman train thanks to director, Christopher Nolan and his reluctance to make one of our favorite childhood heroes and turn him into a fake muscle-having priss. The second installment in the new series is one of the darkest and best superhero movies to date, pittingĀ the Dark Knight against a Joker that’s a lot crazier and a little less gay than the Jack Nicholson version. You probably know everything you could ever want to know about it from the millions of dollars of marketing they’ve done and the dozens of trailers, so there’s no point in really writing much more.

Rating: PG-13
