Naruto Japanese Voice Actors
Naruto is one of the most popular anime series, but many fans probably have no clue who the Naruto Japanese voice actors are. If you are a true fan, it is likely that you have already downloaded the free Naruto iPad app that the publishers, Viz Media, launched in Dec. 2010, or you may have added the free Naruto Wiki to your iPhone. Surely not much gets past you when it comes to Naruto Uzumaki and his friends, but some of the voice talents behind the series.
Junko Takeuchi. Junko Takeuchi is the Japanese voice actor of the main character Naruto Uzumaki, whose dream is to become Hokage, the number one ninja in his village. Naruto carries the nine-tailed fox, a very dangerous beast, in his spirit and mind.
Chie Nakamura. Sakura Haruno, who is the main female character in the series, is voiced by Chie Nakamura. Sakura is tough and has beaten just about all of her opponents in her matches.
Noriaki Sugiyama. Sasuke Uchiha, who is Naruto’s best friend and rival, is voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama. Sasuke is considered a genius because of his splendid and fluid techniques.
Kazuhiko Inoue. Voiced by Kazuhiko Inoue, Kakashi Sensei, also known as the Copy Ninja, is the leader of Team Kakashi and the mentor of Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke. Kakashi became known as the Copy Ninja when he copied over 1,000 jutsus with his Sharingan eye.
Kosuke Toriumi. Kiba Inuzuka, who is voiced by Kosuke Toriumi, is a loyal and trust worthy friend and is always accompanied by his ninja dog, Akamaru. Kiba is very dog-like during battles, moving at high speed on hands and feet and growing claws to increase his attack power.
Showtaro Morikubo. Shikamaru Nara thinks everything is boring. His eyes are even usually half-closed! Showtaro Morikubo, the Naruto Japanese voice of Shikamaru, may or may not think the same way! Shikamaru has some pretty cool techniques though. One of his techniques is the Shadow Possession Jutsu, which allows him control over other people.
Ryoka Yuzuki. Voiced by Ryoka Yuzuki, Ino Yamanaka is Sakura’s childhood friend, but they became rivals when they both discovered that the other had feelings for Sasuke. Ino’s special move is the Mind Transfer Jutsu where she can transfer her consciousness to another person and control the person’s actions, using the controlled person to attack others.
Akira Ishida. Akira Ishida is the Japanese voice of Gaara who is from the Village Hidden in the Sand. Like Naruto, Gaara carries a dangerous beast inside of him, the One-Tailed Shukaku.
Yasuyuki Kase. Voiced by Yasuyuki Kase, Kankuro is Gaara’s older brother, but they do not have a brotherly relationship. The villagers call Kankuro a “Puppet Master.” Kankuro has puppet strings that are made of Chakra. The strings allow his life-sized puppets do impossible things.
Toshihiko Seki. Iruka Sensei’s Naruto Japanese voice actor is Toshihiko Seki. Iruka is the Ninja Academy’s main teacher. While Naruto was at the academy, Iruka’s main focus was Naruto, which explains why Naruto considers Iruka a father-figure.
