You might be surprised at how little acting experience the majority of the "Step Up 3D" cast members have. What they lack in acting experience, they make up for in dancing ability. Many of the "Step Up 3D" cast members have been in music videos or gone through formal dance training. Since the movie revolves around dancers, it is nice to see the cast members have the skills to perform in their own dance sequences, which is a huge part of the movie.
Rick Malambri This “Step Up 3D” cast member started acting in 2007. His first notable job was a small role on “How I Met Your Mother.” The part was so small his character did not have a name and was credited as the "floppy haired guy." In 2010 he appeared in an episode of the soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" and in 2011 he was a part of the movie "Birds of a Feather."
