Jennifer Love Hewitt Movies

Fall in love with these Jennifer Love Hewitt movies. Hewitt got her start in commercials and a spot on Disney’s “Kids Incorporated” in 1984. After that she had a few roles on TV until hitting another success with a spot on “Party of Five” in 1994.

  1. “I Know What you did Last Summer” (1997). This movie really got Jennifer Love Hewitt’s name out there. It is based on the novel by Lois Duncan and is about a group of friends who cover-up the stranger they accidently kill. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Julie James, who starts out as very sweet and naive, in the movie. The movie is directed by Jim Gillespie.
  2. “Heartbreakers” (2001). This is one of Hewitt’s more grownup roles. The movie is about a mother and daughter con-artist team. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays the daughter in the movie opposite Sigourney Weaver. In the movie Weaver marries wealthy old men and ten Hewitt seduces them so her mom can mop up in the divorce. The movie is directed by David Mirkin, who is also a well known TV producer.  
  3. “Trojan War” (1997). This teen comedy is about a guy who thinks he’s about to score with the girl of his dreams but he has to find a condom first. He runs into some crazy trouble on his simple quest and starts to question who he should end up with. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Leah Jones, the girl that the main character starts to consider. The movie is directed by George Huang.
  4. “Can’t Hardly Wait” (1998). This is a teen comedy about high school graduates that fit different stereotypes and one wild night at a graduation party. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Amanda Beckett, the popular girl, in the movie. The movie is directed and written by duo Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan.
  5. “Shortcut to Happiness” (2004).This movie was originally titled “The Devil and Daniel Webster”. In the movie, a struggling writer sells his soul to the devil for fame. Jennifer Love Hewitt gets a little evil with her role as The Devil alongside stars Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin, who also directed the movie.
  6. “I Still Know What you did Last Summer” (1998). This is the less successful sequel to “I Know What you did Last Summer”. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Julie James again in the movie. The movie is directed by Danny Cannon, who is known for his work as a producer for the show “CSI” and its spin offs.
  7.  “The Truth About Love” (2005). In this movie, a drunken woman makes a bet with her sister and sends her husband an anonymous Valentine to see his reaction. When he hides the card it shakes her happy marriage. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Alice Holbrock, the woman that gambles away her marriage on a dare, in the movie. The movie is directed by John ay.
  8. “If Only” (2004). In this movie, a young businessman learns to put love before work after tragedy strikes. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Samantha Andrews, the girlfriend of businessman Ian Wyndham (Paul Nicholls), in the movie. The movie is directed by Gil Junger, who has worked on many popular TV shows as well as directed the movies “Black Knight” and “10 Things I Hate About You” among others.
  9. “The Tuxedo” (2002). A chauffeur fills in for a secret agent by wearing his tuxedo with special gadgets. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays the secret agent’s partner, Del Blaine, in the movie. The movie is directed by Kevin Donovan.
  10. “Garfield” (2004). This movie is based on the popular comic strip about a fat cat. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Liz, the sweet animal-loving vet that dates Garfield’s owner, in the movie. The movie is directed by Peter Hewitt, who also directed “Zoom”, “The Borrowers”, “Tom and Huck” and “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey”.
