Acting ws in Arnolds career plan, and his first break out role was "Conan the Barbarian" in 1982, followed by "Conan the Destroyer" and "Terminator" in 1984. During his vast acting career, he starred in many classic action films—Dutch in "Predator", John Martix in "Commando", and Douglas Quaid in "Total Recall". Arnold also explored his comedic side in "Junior", "Jingle all the Way", and "Batman and Robin".
August 6, 2003 Schwarzenegger announced his candidacy for the Governor of California on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". This announcement sparked national and international news, as well as nicknaming him "the Gorernator". Arnold won the 2003 election with 48.6% majority votes, he also was reelected in 2006 with 55.9% majority vote. Shortly after he left the Governors office, Arnold separated from his wife of 25 years, Maria Schriver due to infedility, Schwarzenegger fathered a child of a former employee from nearly a decade ago.
