Sunday, March 6 by Christen Henderson

Want to know who the 10 best young Hollywood actors are in today's world? Well, great! This article will provide you with a list of the most exclusive and upcoming young actors in Hollywood. Kids today seem to be earning a big chunk of change for their folks in Hollywood. These young actors are today's kids and tomorrows big Hollywood.

  1. Ellen Paige. You probably know her from "Juno," but she's making it big in Hollywood now. This young actress has been offered many amazing roles, and acts them out brilliantly. She's cool, witty and quirky.
  2. Shia LaBeouf. This young man is making a name for himself in Hollywood as well. He started on a small Disney kid show and ended up in the worldly "Transformers" movie and then headed to "Wall Street." Keep your eyes on this handsome fellow.
  3. Michael Cera. This quirky little guy is cool, weird and dorky – and hey, he stills makes more money than you! Cera has starred in many of today's teen cult hits such as "Superbad" and "Zombieland." He only seems to get better as time ages him into adulthood."
  4. Channing Tatum. This guy has all the girls swooning and all the guys wanting to be friends. His breakthrough performance on "Step Up got the attention he needed, and ever since then, this guy has been a star! He just might possibly be the next Brad Pitt.
  5. Robert Pattinson. This cool charming vampire player may be too cool for his own good. The "Twilight" star has made it big and became a hearthrob in a matter of three years. It's only a matter of time before he reaches his full potential.
  6. Daniel Radcliffe. Who can be a wizard and make it look awesome? Daniel Radcliffe is one of the most popular up and coming actors of the new generation. His famous Harry Potter role tops most of the top earners in Hollywood already.
  7. Emma Roberts. This young lady is full of potential, and she might just be the next Julia Roberts. Playing roles such as Nancy Drew and hitting stardom as a teen, she is only going to continue to rise to the top.
  8. Vanessa Hudgens. This musically talent actress can sing, act and dance. The "Highschool Musical" star had girls wanting to be her and young men drooling. She's going to have the world in her hands.
  9. Dakota Fanning. This little starlet may be young, but she's very savvy when it comes to making it big in Hollywood. This young Hollywood star has already gotten the chance to share the screen with Tom Cruise. She played more than eighteen roles before she was even fourteen.
  10. Taylor Lautner. This hunky fresh actor looks like he stepped off the cover of Men's Fitness and he's not even legal yet. His starring role as Werewolf in "Twilight" made him a household name, and he's only getting bigger taking more popular roles each time.

I hate when I read articals like this and the writer messes up the facts. Michael Cera wasn’t in Zombieland. That was Jesse Eisenburg.

Lol at Taylor Lautner being number 1. Possibly the worst actor around and you put him at nĂºmero UNO. How embarrassing. That kid is only known for his ability to take off his top, unfortunately for him it doesn’t hide his over the top acting. Shame on you. There are so many better young actors out there.

How in the world is Taylor Lautner on the list? He is probably one of the worst actors of his generation. If it werent for his body, he would be nothing. He isnt even a good actor for the role of Jacob…..anyone who read the books knows that. Then too this article obviously lacks validity because it doesnt even have facts. Michael Cera was not in Zombieland and Taylor Lautner is not getting more fame because of the roles he is taking. He sucked in Valentine’s Day and the only movie he has coming out next is one that his daddy and Summit pimped him out in. Get your facts straight. Dont agree with Channing Tatum on this list either. It seems you are going based on looks rather than acting chops. Hell, Kristen Stewart has more depth and a longer resume than Lautner!

Ok….So where does Kristen Stewart fit in here? She should definately be on here!!

This list is reallly good, but Robert Pattinson should be at the top! He is about to break out with WFE! Everyone will see him as the best in Hollywood!!

Mia – while I agree with you about Taylor Lautner’s acting, he is #10 not #1, but Kristen Stewart should be on the list in his place. I agree with the others

Let’s analyze your list now shall we?

#10: Taylor Lautner should NOT be on this list. He is a buff, meat head with the depth of a waffle. He is a horrible actor. He is hott (sorta…) but that’s it.

#9: Dakota Fanning is well deserved on this list. She has worked with DeNiro, Sean Penn, and others and is a good actress. I think she should have been around number 5.

#8:Vanessa Hudgens? Are you kidding me? REALLY? She is just as bad as Lautner! Have you seen Beastly? Her acting is horrible, and if you have ever heard Sneaker Night, you would know she cannot sing. Zac Efron is a much better actor than her.

#7:Emma Roberts is kind of annoying, but hey. She can act fairly well and should be on the list. Not too much to say about her.

#6:Daniel Radcliffe is a very good actor, but he should’ve been placed higher. I think he might be doomed to be forever seen as Potter, but hell. They were good movies, so whatever.

#5: Robert Pattinson may not have shown much in Twilight (But no Oscar winning actor could’ve done much with Edward Cullen), but I believe he has a LOT of potential, and he is fairly talented with a good personality. He is someone I hope to see sticking in Hollywood.

#4: Channing Tatum: He is 31 years old for the love of all that is holy. Young, new? Please. He should NOT be on this list. Case Closed. And he should have NOT beat out Radcliffe, Pattinson, Fanning, and Roberts because they all can act a lot better than he can.

#3: Michael Cera should also not be on this list. He is a comedic actor and is placed in good roles in movies that are good but #3? Come on.

#2:Shia LaBeouf is a good actor–maybe even developing into a great one–but he has been around since Even Stevens. His young, new to Hollywood days are over. He shouldn’t be on this list really, and if so, not so high.

#1: Ellen Paige, I mean…she is alright. She is a good actor, but I don’t know if she is the best in Hollywood. I don’t know what to say about her really..

Actors that SHOULD have been on this list: Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, Mia Wasikowska, Zac Efron, and a lot of others. This list is crap. It looks like a look contest, not to mention, whoever wrote this probably thought about the first young actors she/he could think of.

I think what the author is trying to say is the most bankable teenybopper Hollywood actors instead of the real, talented actors who care about their craft (I’ll make an exception on Ellen Page, she is a good actress). I’ll give you a list of those actors instead, I’ll include their filmography just to show you how much they’ve proven themselves compared to these moneygrubbers

    1. Ryan Gosling – Half Nelson, Blue Valentine, Lars and the Real Girl (6th youngest Best Actor Oscar nominee in history)
    2. Joseph Gordon-Levitt – (500) Days of Summer, 3rd Rock from the Sun (Has been around for quite some time doing consistent work and is fast on the rise)
    3. Emma Stone – Zombieland, Easy A (Her performance in the latter earned her a well-deserved Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy of Musical)
    4. Jesse Eisenberg – Adventureland, Zombieland, The Social Network (10th youngest Best Actor Oscar nominee in history)
    5. Mia Wasikowska – In Treatment, Jane Eyre, The Kids Are All Right (Also a bankable star after Alice in Wonderland but shows strong promise with her work)
    6. Michelle Williams – Brokeback Mountain, Blue Valentine, Wendy and Lucy (Two-time Academy Award nominee)
    7. Jake Gyllenhaal – Source Code, Brokeback Mountain, Donnie Darko (Oscar nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role)
    8. Andrew Garfield – Boy A, The Social Network, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (The next Spiderman)
    9. Carey Mulligan – An Education, Never Let Me Go (Academy Award nominee and to play Daisy Buchanan in the film adaptation of The Great Gatsby)
    10. Keira Knightley – Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Pirates of the Caribbean (4th youngest Best Actress Oscar nominee in history)

Where are Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson? Honestly you have heard that Kristen Stewart is the new Meryl Streep? There is a better comparison than this? What about Emma she is simply incredible …

  12. March 6, 2011 6:12 pm

    Mia

Oh sorry my mistake. You are correct, he is 10. Still his presence here is embarrassing as he is just plain awful. At least his co stars are making a real effort to try and forge a real, respectable career.

Ok I do not like what you said about Taylor, not just a pretty body ok, is a very good actor and also did the impossible by consegur the role he wanted, get in shape so quickly is not easy.
That is very good actor, so for me this place has it well deserved.

  14. March 6, 2011 6:12 pm

    Ilse

Johnny Depp for me is a very good actor, could be on the list

  15. March 6, 2011 6:12 pm

    Karly

if bad actor, would have left the role he had for another person, and yet he knew what he wanted and succeeded in presenting, not just by your body. Ok! quiet please

just a comment… Michael Cera is not in Zomebieland… it’s Jesse Eisenberg. However, they are both quirky…

Stewart is the new Meryl Streep? I literally puked at that.

Robert is a very good actor and he will be in Water for Elephants and did with Remember Me too, taylor is the worst actor, this list is not for him.

I totally agree with you except your point on Michael Cera… Probabaly not number 3, but he definitely deserves to be on the list. Just because he’s a comedic actor doesn’t make him any less talented. If you replaced him in Superbad or Nick and Nora or even Scott Pigram v. The world with any of the actors listed, even ones you listed, you wouldn’t have had nearly as much fun as they do with Micheal in the lead. He’s worked with some fantastic comedians and is has shown diversity in his roles, and yeah he chooses good roles… that’s part of being a good actor.

Dakota Fanning should be number 1.

  24. March 6, 2011 6:12 pm

    Babyskates

since when did Michael Cera star in “Zombieland”?
    way to be accurate.

Where’s Kristen Stewart, Andrew Garfield, Carey Mulligan and Jesse Eisenberg among others?

Inaccuracy-riddled (Michael Cera in Zombieland? JESSE EISENBERG, DUH!) nonsense!

It looks like whoever wrote this has gone through a tabloid rag mag and picked out the first names they saw rather than going on actual merit and talent!
