He began his career in the forties and starred in movies until the eighties. He also has been awarded for the contribution he has made to the Indian film industry with his career. Ashok Kumar. Late actor, Ashok Kumar was born in 1911 and starting his career in 1936, he is recognized as the best Indian movie actor of all times.
