If you’re looking for some eastern flavor in your films, look no farther than the 10 best Asian actors in Hollywood. These actors show their versatility through their varied on screen roles. Though they come from different parts of Asia, they all work in Hollywood.

  1.  Jackie Chan. Jackie Chan is one of the best Asian actors in Hollywood. After working for many years as a stunt man he landed a role in the film “Drunken Master” and became a star in his own right. Known for both his martial arts skills and comedic timing, Jackie Chan has become an institution in Hollywood films.
  2. Lucy Liu. Lucy Liu is a television turned movie actress who’s dramatic and comedic range has earned her a spot as one of the best Asian actors in Hollywood. A leading role in “Charlie’s Angels” made her a household name and her role as a tough leader in “Kill Bill” solidified her place in Hollywood.
  3. Chow Yun-Fat. After winning an Oscar for his performance in the hugely successful film “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” Chow Yun-Fat became one of the most bankable and best Asian actor in Hollywood. Showing his acting range in films like “Replacement Killers” and “Anna and the King,” Yun-Fat has been working steadily in the film industry since the early 1970s.

  7. Michele Yeoh. From a bond film to a touching story of suffering women in China, Michele Yeoh has proven she can do it all.  Her first film with Jackie Chan, “Police Story,” made her popular and made Hollywood take notice. She quickly followed up this success with turns in “Tomorrow Never Dies,” “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “Memoirs of a Geisha."
  8. Ziyi Zhang.
