May 1st, 2009 at 01:32 pm Damn. Someone did their research. Nice work.
May 1st, 2009 at 01:46 pm spoiler alert! during the credits of the wolverine movie there is a scene with hugh jackman drinking in japan...wolverines wedding arc much?
May 1st, 2009 at 04:39 pm I would love to see the 1.Sentinels- They could use the cartoon episode where Morph "dies" 2.The Juggernaut- I was so bummed with the way he was put across in X2. They need to make him a badass not a dumbass. 3.Apocalypse- Like said above, if done right could be the best.
May 1st, 2009 at 05:29 pm When I read the headline, i was SO hoping you were going to say Apocalypse. That would be epic. I can't agree more with you on this list, although kiddie x-men might be pretty goofy. Though you did say that.
May 1st, 2009 at 06:17 pm How hard is it to do a sentinels story? CGI? Fox won't pay. Colossus sucks in all versions, I want Colossus kicking ass. Apocalypse in any form would rock, but no on has the rocks to attempt it. Mutant extermination with after school special "don't discriminate" storylines are nice and PG-13 and all that they'll do.
May 1st, 2009 at 07:18 pm Two choice arcs; House of M or Marvel Zombies.
May 1st, 2009 at 07:54 pm Days of Future Past... Period. That was the start of all the time travel , alternate universe shit. The major difference was that the story line was tight and it was meaningful.
May 1st, 2009 at 08:05 pm Ultimate X-men: tomorrow people.....it would obviously be a re-telling of the x-men story but it would allow for a whole new series of stories, actors, characters...plus it wouldn't be handicapped by the whole brett ratner screwing up the whole x-men universe with "the last stand".....all that PLUS its a kickass story
May 1st, 2009 at 08:09 pm X-Men vs. Aliens....the Brood! Two Fox properties playing not-so-nice with each other. Bring back Bryan Singer. Or see if James Cameron wants to take a crack at it.
May 1st, 2009 at 09:05 pm nice muse reference
May 1st, 2009 at 09:08 pm Age of Apocalypse is the future story line in Wolverine and the X-men Season 2. There is no way you could turn almost 60 books into one movie and have all those characters make sense. But half of 26 episodes should help get a grip on it.
May 1st, 2009 at 11:36 pm
Good call with Age of Apocalypse needing installments. Probably less realistic than a Shi'ar-X-Men flick.
May 2nd, 2009 at 12:11 am Nomad. No doubt.
May 2nd, 2009 at 12:23 am The Punisher War Journal #6 - Punisher v. Wolverine - CROSSOVER MADNESS.
May 2nd, 2009 at 02:31 am i completely agree with you on the alpha flight storyline! i had no idea that north star was the first person to be written as homosexual. (i thought it was colossus after he had become a villan!) as a child comics were my life. and - cutioners song is one of the greatest storylines ever written... although i was too poor to afford the final issues were xavier regained his stance! a i would love to have mr sinster/apocalypse film. but as you said it would def. have to be the age of apoc. story!!! also Shatterstar is my copilot!!!
May 2nd, 2009 at 07:45 am Proteous X. Nuf said!!
May 2nd, 2009 at 07:58 am omega red, and colossus for sure!!!
May 2nd, 2009 at 09:01 am Deadpool, Cable and Domino are pretty much my 3 favorite charackters.
May 2nd, 2009 at 12:37 pm They should definitely look to the Jim Lee drawn X-Men #1-13 series. It had awesome stories, and some great Wolverine-based story lines with Sabertooth and Omega Red.
May 2nd, 2009 at 01:28 pm If they continue on with Wolverine Solo films I would love for them to do something with Omega Red.
May 2nd, 2009 at 03:10 pm What about Bishop??? he was a cool ass character and i dont hink i know his story at all.
May 2nd, 2009 at 06:39 pm Cable pretty much ruined X-Men. Before him, mutants had creative powers like weather manipulation and demonic teleportation. Once Cable was on the scene, it was all guns, swords and glowing eyes.
May 2nd, 2009 at 06:43 pm Ummm...how can they forget the X-Tinction Agenda. Or even the first time the X-Men had a run in with Genoshan Magistrates when they kidnapped Madeline Pryor. But knowing Hollywood, they would find a way to screw it up. Just look what they did with X3, terrible movie.
May 3rd, 2009 at 06:16 am The film is terrible. Why should I, or anyone else, bother buying tickets for it? It's a bit more than a "risk" of sounding like a shill for Fox.
May 3rd, 2009 at 09:43 am
Wow, people are actually reading the text on these posts... nice!
May 3rd, 2009 at 11:32 am At least they made four X-Men movies. Stop your bitching. BRING ME A GREEN LANTERN MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May 3rd, 2009 at 11:55 am "Forget the Deadpool solo project." Pfft. Nuts to that. Deadpool solo, Deadpool sequel w/Cable in it. Series of Cable & Deadpool movies ala Lethal Weapon mixed with The Terminator and Akira. Hows THAT for ambition eh?
May 4th, 2009 at 08:01 am Liefield new mutants era??? *VOMITS*
May 4th, 2009 at 09:43 am I'd really push for a Stryfe camo - coolest looking character in the Marvel U niverse.
May 4th, 2009 at 09:43 am I'd really push for a Stryfe camo - coolest looking character in the Marvel Universe.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:29 am Deadpool, Juggernaut, Apocolypse and Cable in that order please.
May 4th, 2009 at 12:02 pm In response to the asshole claiming no one should buy tickets for this film, whether you like it or not, if you're gonna see it--freaking pay for it, you filthy thief! Unless you never want another decent movie to be made again because Hollywood is too damn broke. Idiots in this world thinking nothing you do affects anyone else.
May 5th, 2009 at 06:38 am John Proudstar in the new x-men versus x-men first class or James Proudstar via x-force
May 5th, 2009 at 12:43 pm How about a Marvel Universe crossover film to open up non comic book readers to the entire universe. Only FF, Hulk, Iron Man and the X-ies are known to all but the most ardent of comic book fans. (I'm 46 and I kick myself everyday for not saving/preserving the very first FF mag I bought for 25 cents at a newstand in Michigan long, long ago) How bout Onslaught? That takes care of the almost all in the Marvel Universe.
May 5th, 2009 at 01:15 pm
Sir, a Marvel Universe movie, while next to impossible to conceive, would already be in my books as one of the greatest attempts at epic filmmaking ever. Kudos to you for ambition. Now if only Universal, Fox, Paramount, Sony and Lionsgate (I[m probably missing someone) can work together...
May 18th, 2009 at 08:11 am how about marvel comics hand over their properties to dc so they can make good movies for them
June 1st, 2009 at 11:24 am red sea
June 3rd, 2009 at 09:56 pm APOCALYPSE APOCALYPSE APOCALYPSE APOCALYPSE APOCALYPSE!!! that would be totally awsome and cool
August 24th, 2009 at 09:50 am Hi! Ebanij vrot! 5lw6dx716t ifpzb5xvhh!
