The announcement on Monday of the House of Mouse's plans to acquire the Marvel Bullpen sent a ripple thoughout the internet the likes of which has not been seen since Celebricide '09. Within hours there were several illustrations which combined the icons from either camp. Screen Junkies has scoured the corners of the 'Net to put together the most comprehensive gallery of these genius monstrosities. In addition, we sprinkled in a few of our own.

I can't speak to the original artist's intent but what I took from the Darkseid illustration is that he believes he is so powerful that he will not only take over the DC Universe but all other universes associated with comics. Either that or the artist messed up. Funny picture though.

September 8th, 2009 at 05:05 pm Yes with the merger of Disney and Marvel we may expect the combining of many classic and beloved characters. In coming years we may look forward to... Beauty and the Wolverine The Little Atlantean The Black Panther King Snow Grey and the Seven X-Dwarves Peter (Parker the Spectacular Spider) Pan The Incredible Four Captain Aladdin 101 Mutations The Avengicats Space Muties Alice in the Savage Land The Hulk-back of Notre Dame Sleeping Mutie And I always did prefer Disney's Hercules to Marvel's Oops, I left out Jean Possible and Scott Stoppable.
