Entertainment Tonight has posted video of their exclusive Iron Man 2 set visit. Too bad it wasn't Access Hollywood. Pat O'Brien could bring the "party favors" and Robert Downey Jr. could bring his Wonder Woman costume and things could just get nuts. Anywheyz, the footage shows awesome glimpses of the action such as behind the scenes footage of Mickey Rourke bisecting a Rolls Royce with his laser whips. But then it turns vapid in typical ET style. To paraphrase: REPORTER: Did you work out for this? RD Jr: Yeah. I worked out for this. REPORTER: OMG! Still, it's a cool look at a huge film that focuses mainly on the Monaco Grand Prix scene so as to not give away any spoilers. Check it out. By now we've all seen the official pictures of Mickey Rourke dressed as Whiplash at the racetrack in Iron Man 2. You know, the one's where he looks like a Steampunk Harvey Keitel? Well, it's believed that those are images of Whiplash in his prototype Mark I suit. Fans have been abuzz about what the Russian baddie will look like in his final armor ever since. Now the upcoming Marvel comic series IRON MAN VS. WHIPLASH may have revealed what Rourke's look will be when he squares off against Tony Stark and War Machine in the final act of the film. This was the hit of Comic-Con 2009, and for good reason. There's nothing to say other than this is the only leaked footage of IRON MAN 2 that we've been able to find online. $MICKEY ROURKE IS WHIPLASH IN \'IRON MAN 2\'$

Above is the first official look at Mickey Rourke as baddie "Whiplash" in Jon Favreau's Iron Man 2: Our Secrecy Has Become Self-Parody. Originally, the character of Whiplash was female, but has since been reënvisioned as a dude whose real name is "Marc Scarlotti" within Marvel's Ultimate line of titles. Here's a pic:On the downside, the Rourke version of Whiplash kinda looks like a pirate from the future. On the upside, the Marvel comics version of Whiplash looks like DC Comics' Bane character. And something tells me that the image of Rourke is pre-official costume. That "something" is the official Iron Man 2 Whiplash concept art, which you can see after the jump. More...
