$New \'Iron Man 2 Trailer\' Has More Scarlett. \'Nuff Said.$

This 2:30 new trailer for Iron Man 2 packs more punch than the ten hour Academy Award broadcast I just live blogged until my fingers and eyes bled. Luckily for you, I stopped the hemorrhaaging long enough to write this post. I was impressed with the first trailer for Iron Man 2, but the new one definitely sticks it in its predecessor and breaks it off. The reason for this: Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. Can I just say, DAMN. Halfway through, she body-spins around some henchman before slamming his head in to the ground. Best way to die ever. The trailer also features more Stark, Fury, Whiplash, War Machine, and an easily foldable Iron Man suit, but no amount of CGI can trump Scarlett's magnificent naturals (James Cameron hangs his head, defeated). $Favreau Talks About \'Iron Man\' Having No Secret Identity$

Just before the credits rolled on Iron Man, Tony Stark revealed to the world that he is indeed the armored hero. In the sequel, the filmmakers explore the effects of living in public view by likening the life of a superhero to that of a celebrity. Director Jon Favreau discussed this parallel with the Los Angeles Times: "Robert had strong points of view on these things. He was propelled quite publicly to a much more successful station and we were able to draw upon that. We were able to comment on the phenomena of celebrity as we know it today."... "It allowed us to draw upon our experiences and certainly Robert's experiences." Robert's experiences? Does that mean that we can expect to see Iron Man blow rails off hookers while wearing a Wonder Woman costume? Seems to me that's what he's hinting at. You can quote Favreau on this one you guys. Homemade War Machine Costume Must Drive the Ladies Wild

An overzealous neeerrrddddd!!!! fan spent significant hours to create a costume replica of Iron Man 2's War Machine (compare to trailer here). Anthony Le has hand-crafted a costume so impressive that even director Jon Favreau has given him props. Accolades, not actual movie props. He'll have to build replicas of those himself if he wants them.Much like the fan-made transforming Bumblebee costume, this is pretty cool and must have taken a lot to put together. Entertainment Tonight offered up a first look of the Iron Man 2 trailer, which will supposedly be attached to Sherlock Holmes. $\'Iron Man 2\' Teaser Poster Goes Full-Robot$

Yesterday I showed you what Don Cheadle would look like as Iron Man 2's War Machine in toy form. And today, I offer you the film's teaser poster. Here we see Iron Man and War Machine in a Bad Boys-esque pose against a stormy sky. The War Machine armor looks pretty similar to Iron Man's save for additional weaponry and hydraulics. The suit may also be assless. It's very hard to tell from this angle.Jon Favreau has announced the first trailer will premiere in front of Sherlock Holmes, so be on the lookout for that later this month. An Early Look At Don Cheadle as War Machine

No official studio images have been released yet, but we now have a good look at Don Cheadle as War Machine: The Toy. Diamond Previews sent out their advance listings catalogue and in the process have given a glimpse of Cheadle's Iron Man 2 character. Though the full body is blacked out (sorry, no camel toe) we get a decent look at Cheadle's face and helmet. Entertainment Tonight has posted video of their exclusive Iron Man 2 set visit. Too bad it wasn't Access Hollywood. Pat O'Brien could bring the "party favors" and Robert Downey Jr. could bring his Wonder Woman costume and things could just get nuts. Anywheyz, the footage shows awesome glimpses of the action such as behind the scenes footage of Mickey Rourke bisecting a Rolls Royce with his laser whips. But then it turns vapid in typical ET style. To paraphrase: REPORTER: Did you work out for this? RD Jr: Yeah. I worked out for this. REPORTER: OMG! By now we've all seen the official pictures of Mickey Rourke dressed as Whiplash at the racetrack in Iron Man 2. You know, the one's where he looks like a Steampunk Harvey Keitel? Well, it's believed that those are images of Whiplash in his prototype Mark I suit. Fans have been abuzz about what the Russian baddie will look like in his final armor ever since. Now the upcoming Marvel comic series IRON MAN VS. WHIPLASH may have revealed what Rourke's look will be when he squares off against Tony Stark and War Machine in the final act of the film.
