New 'Inception' Pic Features Leo Trapped in a Painting

Leo DiCaprio is on the hunt for Salvador Dali in this new pic from Christopher Nolan's Inception. I don't know if that's what's officially happening, but since Inception and LOST both choose to give us NOTHING before their premieres I only have my ridiculous assumptions to go on. In an interview with the L.A. Times, Christopher Nolan said that Inception was a larger endeavor than The Dark Knight, filming in no less than six countries. I'm guessing the above pic was taken in China, because I've never been there and I like to imagine China looks like a melted oil painting. Christopher Nolan went on to say, "I think we've put a lot of different things into the pot with this one. I grew up watching James Bond films and loving those and watching spy movies with their globe-trotting sensibility." The L.A. Times describes the film's premise as corporate espionage by way of dream invasion. Sweet. It's like John Grisham rewriting The Firm totally baked. Now if only he'd rewrite A Time to Kill while under the influence. Matthew McCaughnehey's character would be TOTALLY the same. More...

English Doesn't Help Make Sense of New 'Inception' Trailer

Leo emerges from a basin of amniotic fluid. The new trailer for Inception has hit, and even though this one's in English I still have no idea what that f*ck is going on. Last week we showed you the French version which made a lot more sense in the sense that it was foreign and foreign things are weird. What I gather from this trailer is what we already know about the movie: Leo DiCaprio is entering people's minds and stealing images/thoughts/dreams/wet dreams with a sleek, metallic vibrator. He also likes to spin a dreidel to work through problems. Can I surmise that his character is Jewish? Oh Nolan, why won't you give me more! Oy vey! Check out the new Inception trailer at Apple.   More...
New \'Inception\' Trailer is Trippy, French

New 'Inception' Trailer is Trippy, French

France has given America so much over the years; the Statue of Liberty, cheese, a place for Johnny Depp to sleep, and now this new Inception trailer. I'm not sure if this is the trailer that will be attached to Sherlock Holmes later this week but I am sure that it looks intriguing and deserves a watch. Leonardo DiCaprio contends with a city that is literally curling in on itself as if it were being potato-peeled. It's hard to say what exactly is going on other than that, but Christopher Nolan's visual style has me hungry for more. Sadly, I failed French but I'll try to translate anyway. Hmmm. All I've got is "the duck... is tall." What does that even mean?? Is that part of another one of those damn confusing virals? (Making Of) Bend your mind around the trailer after the jump... More...

Last week we saw Leonardo DiCaprio knee-deep in the first poster for Christopher Nolan's Inception. And now we have a second poster which appears to be an aerial photo taken in Chicago's historic Inception District. What? You've never been??!!! There's this tiny hole in the wall that serves amazing tapas. Tell Brian I sent you.You can catch the second teaser in front of Sherlock Holmes and see the first teaser right here. More...

You never know what you're going to find when you play a viral video game on a movie website. In this case, it's the first official poster for Christopher Nolan's Inception. "Mysterious" is the first word that comes to mind when my eyes scan over the imagery. A sleek city, a pool of water in the streets, and Leo DiCaprio standing knee-deep in it holding a vibrator. What he's going to do with the sexual device, I have no idea, but it probably plays into the tag of the movie: Your Mind Is The Scene Of The Crime. If they've probed into MY mind, the MPAA is going to have a whole slew of problems with this film.If you'd like to play the game that reveals this poster, you can find it here. First Showing has even provided a strategy guide here. Or you can do none of these things and just enjoy that fact that I've already posted the damn thing for you above. I've even offered a link to some early leaked footage right here. More...

This morning, three new user-generated videos from the set of Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan's new movie, Inception, popped up online and we have them for you. They're all from the film's downtown Los Angeles shoot.  It's hard to figure out exactly what's going on. The first clip is definitely the most interesting. Not since Amtrak sponsored Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade have I seen a train running along asphalt-paved city streets. But that was a long time ago... Guess this little transportation anomaly is all part of Inception's hook that it takes place "in the architecture of the mind." I wonder who the best coffee in this guy's head... More...

The new teaser trailer for INCEPTION, Christopher Nolan's follow-up to THE DARK KNIGHT, has hit the 'nets today after playing in front of INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (for some of us).  Being that it's a teaser and all, we don't get much in the ways of plot, but we do get to see how Nolan's toying with gravity and balance, which is the same thing that a giant bowl of unfiltered sake on a Friday night in L.A.'s Koreatown will toy with as well.  But only one of these things will end with a karaoke rendition of Sisqo's "The Thong Song."  Had Brett Ratner directed INCEPTION, things might be different.   Watch the trailer after the jump.  But in the meantime, enjoy 'deeeeeeeez liiiiiinks: Ashley Gets Down Lowe (and half naked) (Gorillamask) How Ghetto Is Your City?
