  Hollywood has officially driven remakes into the ground. Now it’s all about re-boots! That means they take movies that were really popular and make them again, slightly different. Totally not a re-make, see? In 2009, one of horror’s most recognizable characters, Jason Voorhees, is getting another go in a movie that’s said to encompass elements from the first three Friday the 13th films. Sure, it seems kind of unnecessary, but new ideas are very hard to come by. This should tide us all over for a few years until Japan makes some more good horror movies for us to glom onto. Horay for machetes! Chicks to watch for: Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti and Willa Ford.
