The Simpsons may be declared past its prime, and may have shed most of the audience that was with it during it's halcyon days, but that doesn't mean the show still can't affect audiences as profoundly as any live-action show.

The passing of Marcia Wallace, who played Mrs. Krabappel, has left the show without one of its most enduring secondary characters, and The Simpsons gave the voice actor and the character a befitting send off yesterday.

Not a whole lot else to say, other than, "I agree with the chalkboard."
