On August 8th, DisruptLA will premiere the next James Cameron film. This film was not directed or written by JC, though. But it does star him. Because everyone’s drawn to the magnetic star power and charm that is James Cameron.
The documentary follows Mr. Cameron in a teeny little submarine that is submerged to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, the deepest point in the ocean. In an effort to give this noble and cool effort the dorkiest name possible, the forces behind the film have decided to call it Deepsea Challenge 3D.
Why did they decide that “deepsea” is one word and not two? Because when you direct Titanic, you get to decide where spaces go between words.
Kidding aside, this sounds pretty cool, and, honestly, much more interesting than the net three Avatars, which isn’t a high bar to clear.
