NBC went on a comedy-buying spree yesterday, also picking up a comedy from Borat writer Dan Mazer, which is described as a "relationship comedy." Fun! Let's get back to the Wittels one.

The project doesn't have a name yet, but it does have a plot, which revolves around a live-at-home slacker who, with his parents, helps raise his little brother, who's a teenage tech millionaire. It might not sound like much, but fans of Wittels from his Parks and Recreation work and Comedy Bang! Bang! appearances will hold out hope that this will fare a little better than John Mulaney's did earlier this season.

Also, we might be witnessing NBC repositioning itself as a comedy network, which would certainly be the lesser of two evils after seeing their drama offerings for the past decade or so.
