‘Better Call Saul’ Calls Michael McKean To Co-Star

He'll replace the tie with a bolo, I hope!

We got some good news from AMC’s Better Call Saul camp. The good news is that the cast won’t just be Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks (and, God willing, Huell) sitting around a room, all awkward.

The familiar crew will be getting a new face in Michael McKean, perhaps best known for his work in the Christopher Guest mockumentary world.

According to Deadline, “McKean will play a new character, Dr. Thurber, a brilliant attorney who is now restricted by an unusual affliction.” Hmmm. Color me intrigued. Narcolepsy? Tourettes? A third (or possibly fourth, fifth, or sixth) nipple?

Additionally, the Deadline piece says that the show will premiere in November, which is good news for all of us chomping at the bit to get a little more Saul in our lives.
