HBO, who always seems to have greenlit or in development far more shows than they'll have schedule space for, has announced another addition to the family in Westworld, the story of how a world of humans co-exists alongside robots.

The adaptation had been long rumored to have included Arnold Schwarzenegger, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore, as they probably want someone a little fresher, like Bruce Willis or Frank Stallone.

I guess something worth noting is that J.J. Abrams will serve as the executive producer, which means it will either fail to gain traction immediately, or will last years upon years, only to wind-down to an exhausted and frustrated audience.

Excite times in TV land.
