You don't need to read my mind to see my boner.

In True Blood's idiotic second season finale, Bill needed to save Sam by squirting him full of his magic vampire blood (SPOILER ALERT). Well, who knows who will be squirting what in the new season. Show creator Alan Ball tells Michael Ausiello that the vampire and shapeshifter now share "not just any connection, an erotic connection," as a result of the transfusion. Ball wouldn't disclose how erotic the scenes will be, but let's assume the monster-mashing is nestled somewhere near Van Helsing and New Moon on the Gay Monster Scale, or GSM as it's more commonly called. HBO's True Blood is prepping for its third season and it seems that creator Alan Ball is looking to bring some more batsh*t characters to Bon Temps. Michael Aussiello at EW posted the official show casting notice. Sorry fellas, looks like next season is going to be an undead sausage party.

Check out a rundown of the cast-to-be:

Tommy Mickens - Sam's long-lost brother
Talbot - a sarcastic vampire named after a shoe store
Jesus Valasquez - "an unordinary orderly with a heart to match his good looks"
Franklin Mott - a vampire that befriends Tara
Coot - leader of the rednecks
Jen and Missy - two college girls looking to party
Yvetta - a Czech stripper with designs on Eric
Reverand Daniels - a holy man who is going to bang the crazy out of Tara's mom

We'd like to make a suggestion for the casting of unordinary orderly Jesus Valasquez:

Although his name has been attached to a slew of projects recently, Steven Spielberg has set his sights on Harvey as his next to direct. James Stewart starred in the original as a man who's best friend is a six-foot tall invisible rabbit. No word yet on casting or the unnecessary special effects that will bastardize this remake but let's see, who in Hollywood could pull off a protagonist who sees things that may or may not be there? Joaquin Pheonix, put down your microphone and dookie gold ropes. Steven Spielberg needs you. (The Playlist)

TRUE BLOOD LAUNCHES VAMPIRE GOSSIP SITE

May 29, 2009, 6:06 am

The marketing for HBO's True Blood has always had a cool way of re-imagining popular culture with a vampiric twist. For instance, their beverage billboards from last summer that blurred the line between faux and legit. Now in honor of the show's upcoming second season, they've launched BloodCopy.com; a website that sinks its teeth into juicy vampire gossip. It's like Gawker but less evil.
