With so much crime in the city, how do I teach these keeeeeeedz?! It appears Antoine Fuqua liked his breakout film Training Day so much that he decided to remake it as an ensemble drama and change the title to Brooklyn's Finest. Ethan Hawke plays the same character he did in Training Day, except now he's got more kids to provide for, and Richard Gere is an older, whiter version of Denzel Washington's Alonzo.

Along with Hawke and Gere, the film stars Wesley Snipes in corn rows, Don Cheadle donning several different hats, and Will Patton, who's always awesome. Their character's stories interweave in a plot that's not unlike Crash's, but with more corrupt cops or something. Even though it's doubtful, maybe this film will steal an Oscar too.

In case you've been jonesing for a vampire movie, Daybreakers starring Ethan Hawke, Willem Defoe, and Sam Neill is here to satisfy your craving.  Oh, you're sick of vampires, you say?  Well they bring in sh*t buckets full of cash at the box office so you're going to have to deal.  At least the one's in this movie don't sweat glitter, or seep diamond dust. I don't know what the actual cause is of the sparkly vamps in Twilight, but I do know it's fruity. 

The premise for Daybreaks goes as such: In the year 2019, vampires are now the dominant species on the planet with the remaining humans being farmed for blood.  But with the remaining blood supply dwindling, a vampire scientist (Ethan Hawke) finds himself siding with the human resistance.

Sounds like another social commentary to me. Isn't it about time the world except homosexuals (vampires)?

Oh, Isabel Lucas... only you can elevate Transformers Revenge of the Fallen to the level of "serviceable," even if your Decepticon character was the most misguided Transformer ever.  You're also the shining ray of light in this otherwise dystopian trailer for the new vampire film Daybreakers.  It's got dark, moody lighting... music by Placebo... and hissing.  Throw in a couple Mexican Pizzas from Taco Bell and you've got every night every overweight single forty-something spends living in his parents' basement.
