Someone finally caught on to the fact that Tim Burton loves the adjective "creepy" like a fat kid loves cake. Even the room he holds his development meetings in is creepy. Burton's creative team seems to be over the whole "spiral staircase" motif, but the director marches on. Play that wild-eyed man off, Danny Elfman!

It has been announced that screeching retard Avril Lavigne will contribute a song to Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland soundtrack. The song, entilted "Alice Underground", has been selected for the soundtrack and is reportedly going to be the first single off her upcoming album Daddy I$$uez (working title). Alice in Wonderland's soundtrack will also include songs by All Time Low and an ungodly collaboration from Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 and Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy. Wentz points out that this collaboration is only for fun and will not lead to a future band or project. Though if they are to ever combine their forces, might I recommend the band name SHART? It seems appropriate given the key ingredients of this union. (MTV)

I'm pretty sure that if I attended this tea party I would be the biscuit this motley crew served their LSD on. Who is the Mad Hatter's interior designer anyway? You can't mix multi-colored tablecloths and then just place a caterpillar on a giant mushroom in the foyer. It ruins the whole flow of the space!

This new art proves to be just as trippy as the most recent trailer, and I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. I still haven't decided if I'm excited about this new Tim Burton cacophony of mental wails, but a few Xanax might change my mind. (via JoBlo

Spike TV hit us with the good stuff last on the Scream Awards, and no I'm not talking about the captivating evening of the award show itself. We get another look at basically the first trailer for Alice in Wonderland, except this time the producers threw in some extra tiny morsels to place on tip of your tongue and let melt into your bloodstream.

All the classic Tim Burton elements are present, except of course for Johnny Depp who, wait a minute, is that Depp in creepy contact lenses?! Well this changes everything. Whether or not you think Alice is going to be awesome it's probably going to be awesome, and if you bet against it you will surely suffer the consequences of your friends' ridicule and swift punches to your vital organs. Hey, I don't know the content of your friends' characters.

Never bet against Burton.
