We couldn't be happier about the fact that adorable Alexis Bledel is coming to us as a Post Grad today. She's graduated from Gilmore Girls and is finally taking on roles opposite Michael Keaton. Her innocense intrigues us. In the dark recesses of our imagination we're hoping that Keaton had a conversation with Alexis on set and convinced her that as her next endeavor she should play a woman who's an exotic dancer by day and a stripper by night. It'll be a complex character study, but it's good for an actress to go against type. A word from Alexis: "For some unknown reason, bad-boys draw you in despite the fact that they are jerks."If watching NSFW videos and stealing Post-Its from the supply room is what Alexis considers bad, then she can hop on the back of our Vespa and hold on while we haul ass to Dairy Queen. Enjoy your Blizzard and check out more pics of Alexis after the jump!
Melanie Laurent is the second Inglourious Basterds dame of the week, and it's nice to have some Parisian je-ne-sais-quoi accompanying our German ich-weiß-nicht-was. In the film, Melanie's character Shoshanna Dreyfus is out for revenge via spilled Nazi Blood, and she's not afraid to weild an ax to get it. Looks and she can chop firewood. Talk about a double threat! A word from Melanie: "Cause I never took theater lessons, for example. I just made movies. So I have very—and I’m French. We are lazy!"Hey, Melanie, we're lazy, too! Let's lay around in bed all day, drink espresso, and eat crepes off of each other. Post a message if you're down. And why don't you check out some sexy pics of yourself while you're here! Everyone else can look, too!
The spiciest season yet of Top Chef premieres tonight on Bravo, and we can't wait to see what kind of foodie antics host Padma Lakshmi doles out in Sin City. This could quite possibly be the season where a naked Quick Fire Challenge gets things all hot and sweaty in the kitchen. Sure, it's unsanitary, but a nude Padma bossing those eager chefs around is too appealing of an idea to worry about E. coli. A word from Padma: "In India, we like healthier, more voluptuous types."Amen, sister. You gotta have something to grab on to. Check out a few more pics of Padma and all of her voluptuousness after the jump!
The girls from The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard are back today, which means I am officially screwed on the title-related joke front. But that's alright, because today's girl, Kathryn Hahn, is funny all on her own. The talented comedienne has been a bit player in tons of comedies like Anchorman, Step Brothers, and… um, Reservation Road. That was supposed to be funny, right? On the small screen, she is well-known for her time on "Crossing Jordan," where her role Lily was created specifically for her by the show's creator, Tim Kring. I guess Kring saw that Kathryn had "The Goods." COUNT IT!A word from Kathryn: "To be worked into a show that was in production and on the schedule, is an amazing stroke of luck."It's not luck if you have the looks and humor on par with Ms. Hahn. (I struggled to not repeat "The Goods" joke just then; it's too easy) Check out more hot photos of Kathryn after the jump!
While we gave her the nod in our hot female grifters feature, we felt Spread actress Margarita Levieva deserved her own gallery because, well, she's ridiculously good looking. The Russian-born beauty spent her early life as a competitive gymnast on the Communist Russia payroll before moving to New York at 11. There, she went to NYU and worked as a fashion buyer for Assets London (we don't know what that is either, but for now let's just assume it's something important). She's got few film credits to her name at this point, with her only notable role being that of Lisa P in the awesome Adventureland. However, she's hot and her name is the same as a delicious drink, so we feel she's going places.A word from Margarita: "I’m not an insecure person, per se, but I just never saw myself as the girl who walks into a place and everybody goes, ‘Wow.’"Rest assured, if she ever walked into the Screen Junkies offices, we would let out a collective wow. Then, we'd awkwardly stammer through directions to the office she should be in. It's obviously not ours. Check out more photos of Margarita after the jump!
Not since the release of the latest Harry Potter movie have we really had to worry about oogling girls that may in fact be underage. Then Bandslam came into our sphere of thought. This features more "wait a second, are they 18?" babes than you can shake a stick at. Since Vanessa Hudgens is proving to be a shameless photo hooker without our help, we felt it would be best to point you towards Alyson Michalka, the legal babe that somehow manages to not have nude pics of her turn up on the internet every six months. Prior to Bandslam, Alyson's big acting job was on the Disney Channel series "Phil of the Future," but she also happens to be a platinum-selling recording artist with Aly & AJ, a band she started with her younger sister. Plus, when she was 10, she won a Christmas card competition with Hallmark. So, before she was legal, she accomplished more than 80% of the people reading this have as adults.A word from Alyson: "I'm always the crazy one at parties who will do silly stuff! I've eaten like five lemon wedges and then I had to drink a cup of sugar!"See, Vanessa Hudgens? That should be the crazy stuff you do, not drink five lemon-lime Smirnoff Ices and decide to take photos of yourself in your birthday suit! You work for Disney, for goodness sake! Check out wholesomely hot photos of Alyson after the jump.
Another hot actress from The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard? Crap, I already used a "she's got 'the goods'" joke yesterday with Jordana Spiro. Gotta think of another title-pertinent description for Noureen Dewulf… Oh, I got it: Noureen Dewulf is no "hard sell." Goodness, that's brilliant. The young actress first started gaining attention in the Oscar-winning short film West Bank Story. Since then, she's had a steady stream of work that includes both film and TV, including The Ghosts Of Girlfriend's Past, Oceans 13, and "Chuck." Did I mention she's gotten all these jobs in about a two-year span? At this rate, expect Noureen to be huge in another two.A word from Noureen: "I think the most important thing women look for in men is a level of comfort in your life, if you're nerdy, be nerdy, if you're cool and super talkative, be that. I'm attracted to people who are comfortable with themselves and are proud to be that way."Maybe I shouldn't have written out that inner monologue about me struggling for a joke; that wasn't confident at all. I blew what little chances I had with her already. Oh well, check out more hot photos of Noureen after the jump!
I'll get the obvious corny statement out of the way: The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard actress Jordana Spiro does, in fact, have "The Goods." Har. She plays Ivy Selleck, love interest to Jeremy Piven's Don Ready and fiancée to Ed Helms's Paxton Harding in the film. The movie looks racy, but expect Spiro to add a layer of class and beauty to the film (as far as we can tell, they gave all the dildo jokes to Will Ferrell) Outside of the new flick, she's been keeping busy playing every man's dream girl: the tom boy sports writer PJ on the TBS series "My Boys." Between movies about failing used car lots and TV shows about sports, it's safe to say Jordana Spiro should be the object of every American man's affection.A word from Jordana: "Basically my homework for the show was to learn how to play poker, watch sports and drink beer. It was really difficult."We're not exactly sure how she got a job that involved performing things that men do for fun, but we're guessing it had something to do with her looks. We're also a little jealous of her. Check out more hot photos of Jordana after the jump!
It's pretty much a certainty that Julie & Julia will lack any semblance of edge or bad-assery. In spite of the fact that Julia Child was a spy before she was a cook, we think feel-good writer/director Nora Ephron chose to ignore that (here's hoping, however, that Paul Greengrass will direct a prequel to this movie focusing on her days as an impulsive secret agent). The principal actresses Meryl Streep and Amy Adams don't really scream "gritty" either. So, all hope would be lost for any sultriness in the film opening today, save for Vanessa Ferlito. The Brooklyn-born beauty is most recently known for delivering a sexy lap dance to Kurt Russel in the extended version of Death Proof. You may also remember her from the Tommy Lee Jones' film Man of the House (okay, we only remember the "This is my happy faaace!" line from that movie too).A word from Vanessa: "Directors look at me and think, Brooklyn, rough and tough. But I can also hang out with Helen Mirren." To be fair, Helen Mirren can hang in Brooklyn too. Let's not forget that she's credited for the clapping at the beginning of the KRS-One song "MC's Act Like They Don't Know" But that's besides the point; check out more hot photos of Vanessa after the jump!
Paul Giammatti is not known as a classical beauty, but rather possibly the most awesome actor of recent times (if this post were a soap box, I would spend the next twenty minutes bitching about how he didn't get an Academy Award for Sideways, but soap box this is not). Luckily, his new film Cold Souls has plenty of pretty ladies surrounding him to make up for his lack of gorgeousness. Yesterday, we noted Lauren Ambrose's presence in the film; today, we direct your attention to the blonde bombshell Katheryn Winnick. The Canadian beauty has been in a bunch of projects ranging from small to big, but what sets her apart from her peers is that she's a third-degree black belt in tae kwon do, and a second-degree black belt in karate. She's also a licensed body guard, which probably makes any guy reading this want to get rich and famous enough to necessitate a body guard, in hopes that they could find one this hot. Our guess, however, is that they'd wind up with a 300 pound man named "Tito."A word from Katheryn: "I would love to work with Shirley McClaine, Phillip Seymour Hoffman. People that are grounded and human and passionate."We would love to see you work with them as well… Or take them on in a brutal tae kwon do sparring match. Either way, it'd be cool. Check out more photos of Katheryn after the jump!
A movie about Paul Giammatti removing his soul from his body and then trying to find it in the underground world of soul trafficking? That sounds indie-tastic! The only way to make Cold Souls have more indie credibility would be to cast a pretty but decidedly non-mainstream actress in a part. Enter Lauren Ambrose. She started in the mainstream on TV and the film Can't Hardly Wait (arguably one of the best teen movies in the 90s, but is that saying much?), but decided to stick with weirder and more intriguing projects than the cookie cutter stuff in Hollywood. She's well known for being the youngest of the Fisher family in the HBO series "6 Feet Under" and, of course, for her fiery red hair. Listen for her voice in the upcoming Spike Jonze film Where The Wild Things Are. A word from Lauren: " I came to L.A. to work and become a better actress, not to be a star." I guess that explains why she didn't go the path of fellow redhead Lindsay Lohan. Thank God for that. Check out more hot photos of Lauren after the jump!
Don't you hate when you're really revved up to see a movie based off its awesome trailer only to find that the best part of the movie IS the trailer? That's because the studio didn't allow the press to review the movie in advance. They know they have a crappy product and any bad reviews could hurt their opening weekend box office.Nowadays, early buzz is as important to a film as the star whose name appears above the title. A bad review could snowball into bad word of mouth and then Twitter gets a hold of it and the opening weekend is shot. Have a look at the recent releases of Funny People and Bruno. Both were anticipating to stack dollars into the stratosphere but due to early complaints about issues with length and penises (I feel ya) the films underperformed (that's how I roll).
Weeds has a variety of incredibly attractive women on it, but in comparison to other shows, it has the milf market cornered. Much is said about Mary-Louise Parker, but the unsung hot mom of the show is Elizabeth Perkins. Playing Celia Hodes, she nails the "raging bitch" role down pat, almost too well. It makes us hope her character experiences a softening-up that occurs as a result of her new relationship with an oddly juvenile co-worker, preferrably played by Tom Hanks. That, or we could all just watch Big again. Either way, she's still hot.A word from Elizabeth: "My sisters are very academically inclined so whenever they would fix me up, it would always be from someone in their world, people they would find attractive. When they came to the door in suits, it was over."Luckily, most of our readership don't own suits, so it seems like we have a shot! Check out more hot photos of Elizabeth after the jump!
Unlike Michael Bay, who hires models for every non-matronly female part in his films, Stephen Somers only hires models to play models in his upcoming G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. The drop-dead gorgeous Karolina Kurkova will be playing the aptly nicknamed "Cover Girl," a former professional model who decided that runways and eating disorders were boring, and that blowing sh*t up in the army would be much more au courant. A word from Karolina: "Mother Nature made me the way I am, and I should be happy."Most men would high five Mother Nature's palms red for creating Karolina. Check out the photos of Karolina after the jump and turn your palms red! From all the clapping, of course.
I'm as sick of the vampire craze as you (meaning to say I'm sick of Twilight and True Blood), but the new film from the badass Chan-wook Park, Thirst, intrigues the crap out of me. The film centers around a failed experiment that turns a devoted priest into a vampire, who has to battle to retain his humanity. Further confusing his situation is the beautiful Ok-vin Kim, who plays a woman in dire need of the priest's help. So now the priest has vampire problems and a beautiful woman challenging his whole celibacy deal. Outside of the flick, Kim is a young actress and model with a small list of credits so far. She also happens to know kung fu, which is always pretty awesome.A word from Ok-vin Kim: "I am not attracted to easy and simple roles… I only feel alive when I am challenged with difficult roles that push me to improve my acting skills"Well, we're attracted to the fact that you aren't attracted to easy and simple roles. Check out more hot photos of Ok-vin Kim after the jump!
It seems like every Judd Apatow movie features a quick sex-oriented scene with Carla Gallo (see 40 Year Old Virgin, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Superbad, etc). The only problem with this is that she's only in one scene; she should be in more. She sticks around for only one scene in his newest flick Funny People, but we're such suckers for her we'll take what we can get. Hopefully, Apatow will learn that she should be more featured. Until then, she has a pretty good supporting role (meaning she's in more than one scene) as an up and coming porn actress in Californication. A word from Carla: "I love Urban Outfitters skinny jeans. And they're the right price!"She should do commercials for Urban Outfitters; her ability to exist in only one scene is perfect for commercial format (damn you Apatow!). Check out more hot photos of Carla after the jump!
Alright, I'll admit, when I think of what alien-themed Summer flick our reader's will appreciate hearing about, I don't jump to Aliens in the Attic, I think of District 9. However, having been lucky enough to have seen District 9 (review coming soon), I can note that the movie has a distinct lack of hot young Disney stars. Aliens in the Attic, on the other hand, has the beautiful Ashley Tisdale. The High School Musical actress seems to be keeping close to the kids movie/Disney path, so we can't expect to see her in any badass action films like District 9 just yet, but isn't her squeaky clean demeanor part of her appeal?A word from Ashley: "My agent didn`t want me on Disney because I`m older. But honestly, I`m not ready for older roles yet, or even the things older girls do. I am still young."Don't worry, we checked, and she's chronologically old enough for us to recommend that you check out more hot photos of Ashley after the jump!
Turns out Madeline Zima was only the tip of the ice berg that is hot women in the new horror-heist thriller The Collector. Today, we direct your attention to the lovely Andrea Roth. She's been a TV and film star for quite some time, most recently in a recurring role on the edgy (meaning it's on basic cable and they actually say "sh*t!") drama "Rescue Me." A word from Andrea: "When they were casting, Denis [Leary] was very specific that he didn't want any actors from L.A., and I was living in L.A. at the time."Yet she still got the part. Can you blame Denis Leary though? He would have been stupid not to cast her. Check out more hot photos of Andrea after the jump!
The political comedy In The Loop brings back a familiar face that has been gone for far too long. There's a high probability that you'll remember Anna from her breakout role as Vada Sultenfuss in the classic My Girl, but after that there's nothing that really stands out. As it turns out, this is because she took a lengthy hiatus from acting to get educated by the University of Chicago. Now she's working her way back into the acting world, and we couldn't be happier. She certainly makes watching a political comedy sound endurable.A word from Anna: "They spoil you rotten. If you want a glass of milk, they run off to get you one."While that quote was in reference to her working as a child actress, I'm pretty sure that kind of stuff would have happened even if she wasn't a star, she's just that good looking. Check out more hot photos of Anna after the jump!
There might be something wrong with Esther in the new movie Orphan, opening this week, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with actress Vera Farmiga. She plays the adopted mother of the titular orphan in the movie, even though she looks way too hot to be a mom. As it turns out, she is almost about to have a baby in real life, completely shattering my concept of what a "mom" is supposed to look like. Basically, what I'm trying to get at, is that she's really ridiculously good-looking. Almost good looking enough to make Orphan look like it's worth watching. However, after the Ring debacle of 2003 where I developed a massive fear of small creepy kids, I've learned to stay away from these types of movies.A word from Vera: "There are some times when I think acting can be a noble profession."Not sure if those "noble" times include doing intense sex scenes in The Departed and Running Scared, but I'm sure viewers appreciated them none the less. Check out more hot photos of Vera after the jump!
The Answer Man, available on demand right now and in theaters this Friday, looks to be a romantic comedy that will play off of the strength of their ever-lovable cast. That includes the likes of Jeff Daniels, Kat Dennings, and Olivia Thirlby, but the one we're most interested in is the romantic interest of the flick, Lauren Graham. She won us over before The Answer Man with her heartwarming performance as Lorelai Gilmore through seven wonderful years of The Gilmore Girls… Erm, not that we watched that show or anything. We were watching… Um, Prison Break instead… Yeah, Prison Break. A word from Lauren: "These days I have to be extra nice in stores. It never fails that whenever I look as bad as I can possibly look or I am sort of cranky because the store is out of something, that is precisely the time when someone one will recognize me and say: 'I really like your show.'"She seems to be succeeding at looking extra nice in public, as evidenced by the photos of her that you can see after the jump!
What good is a horror film without its hot young starlets? No good, that's what it is. Luckily, The Collector, the new horror flick from Project Greenlight winners-turned-Saw scribes Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, has its bases covered in the category of beauties. Madeline Zima, best known as the Lolita-esque character Mia in the Showtime series Californication, stars in the film, which sounds like a mix between a heist film and the kooky violent traps found in all of the Saw flicks (there are about 15 of those now, right?). We're all hoping that she does not find her way into a bear trap-like device that threatens to rip her head off, as it is far too pretty for decapitation.A word from Madeline: "I'm a huge dork, trying to please all the wrong people."While we don't like to think of ourselves as "the wrong people," she's certainly pleasing to look at. Check out more hot photos of Madeline after the jump!
Judd Apatow has a knack for finding women that manage to be very funny and incredibly hot at the same time for his movies. For Funny People, he has found Aubrey Plaza, and up and coming actress and comedian who plays Seth Rogen's love interest in the film. She also stars on the small screen in NBC's Parks and Recreation. As a small side note, her Sarah Silverman impression is dead on.A word from Aubrey: "Wilmington is pretty small. There wasn't a ton to do there, but it definitely made me more creative because I had to kind of find my own thing to do, which is why I started making weird, funny videos."So growing up in a small and boring town is the secret to creating a hot and funny personality… Very interesting. Check out more photos of Aubrey after the jump!
Being hailed as this year's breakout Sundance hit, 500 Days of Summer opens in limited release this weekend. While I cannot attest to whether or not it's a breakout Sundance hit, I can confirm that it is a breakout reason to see Zooey Deschanel act adorable on a giant movie screen. Although, to be fair, every movie she is in counts as one of those. From small parts in films like Almost Famous to a romantic lead in the holiday classic Elf, she's been every indie nerd's dream for quite a while (she even has a respectable indie band, for goodness sakes!). She even made The Happening bearable!… well, ok, she actually didn't, but it's not like she hurt the already awful movie or anything.A word from Zooey: "I don't really like to go out very much. I'm not scandalous. I'm not, like, in this to be famous. I also find it so embarrassing when you read about people and it's like they were so trashed at Skybar and stumbling around. I don't want to be that person. That's just so embarrassing to have that written about you."…And that's exactly why you're awesome, Zooey. Check out more non-scandalous, albeit very pretty, photos of her after the jump!
The Harry Potter franchise offered a unique experience to movie-goers in the sense that they got to see half of the cast grow up on the silver screen. This made it slightly confusing when the women became more attractive as they got older, making the viewer ask "is she legal?" followed by the usual guilt and shame for even asking the question. Well, lucky for you, the Screen Junkies have your back. Bonnie Wright, who plays Ginny Weasley, is now absolutely legal! Now we can all feel slightly less morally reprehensible while ogling her during The Half-Blood Prince.A Word From Bonnie: "I'm interested in doing more things because I think it'd be interesting to get a new challenge. But I've got my exams coming up and it's quite hard to fit everything in."While Bonnie prepares for exams, you can check out more hot (and legal!) photos of her after the jump!
Disney's G-Force has pulled off an interesting trick that made me want to see it: they cast Zach Galifianakis in it. While that prospect is interesting, the trick they pulled that will make me definitely see it is casting Kelli Garner. The gorgeous blonde is taking a step away from her usual film-type of indie dramas such as Lars and the Real Girl to entertain children with the help of guinea pigs. That, or she's helping to entertain the adults who are forced to take their children to a movie about guinea pigs.A word from Kelli: "OK, sure, I have a body. I've had one since I was 16. But the attention it brings me, in life as well as in the industry, makes me really uncomfortable."…That makes this next part kind of awkward. Check out more pictures of Kelli's hot body after the jump!
The MLB All Star Game is on tonight, and what better way to prepare you for it (other than legitimate baseball news, which I for one know none of) than with a girl gallery of a moderately famous actress who has %$&*d dated a buncha baseball players. That's right, it's Alyssa Milano. She's been linked to Brad Penny, Carl Pavano, Barry Zito, and Russell Martin. Although it seems her days of pretending she's Susan Sarandon's character in Bull Durham are over (she's engaged to a CAA agent now… he probably repped a baseball player on some movie), her love for the game still goes on. She's recently released a book entitled Safe At Home: Confessions of a Baseball Fanatic. A word from Alyssa: "I used to sleep nude – until the earthquake."While we try to digest what that quote means, YOU should check out more hot photos of Alyssa after the jump!
"Entourage" made its triumphant return last night, and with it came the return of the adorable Emmanuelle Chriqui. She took a long break from playing Sloan, Eric's smoking hot girlfriend – much to the dismay of every heterosexual male who watches it in hopes of seeing attractive women (the same ones who watch to hear Ari say something cool that they can co-opt for themselves). The producers and writers must've realized they were all morons for not featuring her on the show, and now she's back. All is right with the world (except the economy, of course).A word from Emmanuelle: "You know, "Entourage" is the biggest surprise of my career. It's never really been my dream to be on a TV series. But every pilot season, my agent wants me to do something. So this time I said, 'Okay, look, if I do television, I want to do an HBO show.'"It's no surprise you'll find hot photos of Emmanuelle after the jump.
In the trailer for I Love You, Beth Cooper, someone whispers about the arrival of "The Trinity." We've already covered one third of these lovely ladies, Lauren London, and we have faith that you can find photos of Hayden Panettiere on your own. That leaves us with Lauren Storm, the final piece of the puzzle. She's mostly done TV up to this point, with roles on "Malcom In The Middle," "24," and "Flight 29 Down," but this could prove to be her breakthrough into mainstream movies. At least we hope so. She also is owner of the funniest IMDB trivia section ever, which simply reads: "Jewish."A word from Lauren: "I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but when I have time I watch a lot of HBO. I think they have really good quality television. And I think they have really well made products."While Lauren is angling to get a job on an HBO show, you can check out hot photos of her. After the jump, of course!
Jamie Lynn plays "The Luscious Brunette" in the new comic book-styled noir Break. I expect that if there are awards for truthfully naming a film's characters, Break will win one on the strength of Jamie Lynn's character name alone. The luscious brunette is probably best known as the 2006 Penthouse Pet of the year. She also has her own site, the aptly named sexyjamie.com where she opens herself up to all of the internet (for a small price). Recently, she has been branching out of what my conservative relatives would call "the smut business" in favor of acting in films such as Break and 2008's Ninja Cheerleaders.A Word From Jamie: "My sexy photos and videos are updated once a week. For only $19.95 a month, recurring every 30 days, you'll have access to my photos and videos."It's a small price for such a luscious brunette. Check out more hot pictures of Jamie after the jump (for free!), and be sure to check out Break, available on DVD July 14th right here!
