Adam Sandler Drops The Voices And Acts Reallyreallyreally Hard In 'Men, Women & Children' Trailer
We get to watch him shop for whores online. The Internet has pervaded modern life, and in case you don't ascertain that from your daily encounters with your phone and laptop, now director Jason Reitman is going to show you with his newest film, Men, Women, and Children starring Adam Sandler. The film is about the role technology plays in our interactions, but the trailer reads more like a PSA for Internet addiction with its silent, somber demonstration of people texting, typing, surfing their way to loneliness and isolation. Reitman has shown he is capable of wielding a deft hand in some instances (Up in the Air, Thank You for Smoking), but also willing to oversell matters (Juno, Young Adult) in others. It's hard to tell which camp this will fall into, but we have to say we like the idea of serious Adam Sandler getting whores much more than goofy Adam Sandler getting whores. If only because the goofy Adam Sandler would probably mistakenly pick up Rob Schneider in drag.
